Our Materials

Our materials

At little Fella we believe in clothing made from responsibly grown and recycled fabric. As ethical designers and mothers, we desire to protect our little ones' gentle skin from the residual toxic chemicals fabrics harbor from production, printing, and dyes. Our commitment to sustainable materials allows us to create durable wardrobes that keep their rich color and withstand a hard day's play without causing harmful ecological and humanitarian impacts. When you shop from Little Fella, you support local tailors and manufacture in a small, family-owned factory where we make all our stylish pieces from hand.

ECO FRIENDLY

Support ethical, sustainable fashion and traditional cotton farming. Little Fella collections are made from 90% sustainable materials that have a lower impact on the planet and our human health; Such as organic cotton, recycled polyester, and Tencel.

TENCEL

Tencel modal fibers are extracted from naturally grown beech wood by an environmentally responsible integrated pulp-to-fiber process, which is self-sufficient in energy and recovers co-products from component parts of the woods; this flexible fiber is renowned for its exceptional softness. Composed of natural material, all TENCEL™ standard Modal fibers are biodegradable and compostable under industrial, home, soil, and marine conditions, thus they can fully revert back to nature. Exhibiting high flexibility, TENCEL™ Modal wood-based fibers offer textiles a long-lasting quality of exquisite softness.

REPREVE

Repreve transforms recycled bottles into an amazing fiber, used by the world's leading brands to make athletic and fashion apparel and more. Their Process embeds properties like wicking, adaptive warming and cooling, water repellency, and more at the fiber level. For reliable, durable quality.

ORGANIC COTTON

We use Organic Cotton with certified OCS.Organic cotton is grown without harmful chemicals, leaving the soil, air, and water free from contaminants that cause harm. Organic cotton produces around 46% less CO2e compared to conventional cotton. It also uses far less water to grow since organic cotton growers typically utilize rain far more than irrigation. Certified Organic Cotton is free from toxic dyes & fabric treatments including formaldehyde, heavy metals & aromatic solvents. People with chemical sensitivity and allergies can wear organic cotton safely. Certified Organic Cotton has a notably lower carbon footprint, using less fuel, water, and energy to produce.
